Rivertown Market - We finally have a full service grocery store in Downtown St. Paul! Besides your regular grocery items, they have a deli which is great, bakery items, and you can buy a cup of coffee right at the checkout! This store is open until 6 pm M-F, and 5 pm on Saturday.

Wild Tymes - This is a great new sportsbar in Downtown St. Paul, located in the 7th Place Building. You will find from burgers to Mexican food, salads, and appetizers. This is a place everyone will love. Bring your kids as well when you come downtown to go to the Children's Museum and the MN Science Museum! I find their menu items to be
very reasonably priced.

Infinity Expresso Cafe - If you have been looking for a good coffeehouse, check out this cafe! They have been open since May 1999. I dropped in and found they have a delicious Cafe Mocha . VISIT ALL YEAR ROUND:
The Cathedral of St. Paul - the Cathedral holds tours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1 pm. [Dedicated in 1915 by Archbishop John Ireland as a monument to the people of Saint Paul]. The tour is free, but donations are accepted. Call 651-228-1766 for more information. Incidently, the Cathedral is
located not even 1/2 block from the James J. Hill House. I have not taken the tour, but have walked through the Cathedral while in the area, as well as attending Mass there a couple of times - it is beautiful inside and out! 239 Selby Avenue.
The James J. Hill House - take a tour of this historic home - the architecture of the 45 room mansion, as well as insite into the Hill family are very interesting, and makes a worthwhile tour. I have taken this tour at least twice.

The Minnesota Transportation Museum, Inc - [as described on it's webpage] The all-volunteer, non-profit Minnesota Transportation Museum, Inc. was formed in 1962 for the purpose of locating, acquiring, restoring, interpreting, and operating selected elements integral to Minnesota's transportation history. Activites include restoration, maintenance, interpretation, operations, publication, and administration.

Great American History Theatre - Theater about Minnesota and the Midwest. I have not been here yet, but want to go soon! Call for more information. Box office# 651-292-4323. Downtown.
Landmark Center Tours - tours of the old federal court's building [constructed in 1902] are on Thursday at 11 am, 1 pm on Sunday. The last Sunday of the month is the Gangter Tour, of which registration is required. Call 651-292-3225 for registration
and more information. I recommend the Gangster Tour. I went a couple of years ago, and plan to take the tour again soon. Also visit the Ramsey County Historical Society located in the Landmark Center ph# 651-222-0701. 75 W. 5th St. Downtown.
The Minnesota Children's Museum - this is a great place for toddlers and small children to explore. From the ant hill kids can crawl through, to the learning experience of working together, the Children's Museum is great! They also
have periodic exibits and activities. Call 651-225-6000 for more information. Located at 10 W. 7th St. Downtown.
The Minnesota History Center - This museum was built of materials found in Minnesota. It has exibits, gift stores, a restaurant, and the place I like the best is the Minnesota Historical Society's microfilm area. You can look at newspapers as far back as the mid-1800's

The Science Museum of Minnesota - This museum has relocated to Kellogg Blvd. on the Mississippi River across the street from the library! It is twice as big as the old one and features both an Omni Theatre, and a Laser Theatre! Both are great! They have been at this location since December 11th, 1999. The MN Science Museum offers exibits for children and adults alike. There are seasonal exibits, as well as those you will see every time you visit, which include the dinosaurs. 120 W.
